Barb started working for Heartland Financial Services in 2007. She has been a licensed insurance agent since 2001. Her and her husband, Bryan, live in Tulare. They have two children – Pyne and Aimee. Barb is involved in the Tulare Economic Development Corporation, is a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Tulare United Church, and is part owner of the Patriot Market. Her hobbies include exercising and riding and showing horses.
Nick joined Heartland Financial Services in June of 2016 after a career as a Management Consultant in Washington, DC. He and his family moved to Highmore in the summer of 2013 to begin the journey of keeping the family ranch operating for another generation. Nick and his wife, Paula, have five children and are kept busy with the children’s activities ranging from sports to 4H.

Michael was raised on a cow/calf operation southeast of Rapid City, where his family still ranches today. He worked for Heartland State Bank in Highmore as a Loan Officer from 2007 – 2013. He started working for Heartland Financial Services in 2013 and has been a licensed insurance agent since 2009. In the fall of 2016 Michael and his family moved to Rapid City. They live on a small acreage where they have a small herd of cattle and Suffolk sheep. He is married to Kori Lehrkamp and they have three children – Paige, Grady and Maddie. Kori is a United Methodist pastor and is currently starting a new church in the Rapid City area.

Miranda Thomas has been a Customer Service Representative/Bookkeeper for HFSI since April 1st, 2017. Prior to HFSI, Miranda worked at CHS as a bookkeeper in Highmore, SD. Miranda grew up in Aberdeen, SD and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She coaches one of the Highmore Crossfire Club Volleyball teams and loves being involved in community activities.
